It's sad that John Lennon saw in religion the very worst of man. Religion has done much to cover up the love of God and relegate that love to a low place. Jesus' command to "love one another" is not even on the radar screen of many "christians" today. Lennon, by writing these words, must have thought that loving each other was an invention of man and that religion could do nothing to promote it. I guess he never tasted the love of God or saw it reflected by man.
Will the body of Christ ever be known for it's love? Does Jesus' declaration that his disciples will be know for their love mean anything to you? Imagine the impact we would make on the world if we were known for our love for each other.
